Depending on your preferences credits are used in the following ways:
- When using the bulk email validator a credit is used when each unique email address is validated. The bulk email validator will scan for unique emails prior to validation. The number of unique emails it finds is the number of credits that will be deducted to complete the validation.
- When using the chrome extension to validate a contacts email addresses, one credit is used for each address that is checked. If a contact has three email addresses then three credits are deducted.
- If “Real Time Email Validation” is enabled then one credit is deducted for each email address associated with a contact when email addresses are added or edited. If you have a contact with three email addresses and you add a fourth, then all four addresses are validated and four credits are deducted from your account.
