Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 25, 2020

Certa Pty Ltd (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the certalink.com website (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.

As a general philosophy, we believe that the best way to protect your data is not to collect it in the first place. Therefore, we collect only the minimum data required to deliver our service to you.

Introduction

Before we get to our Privacy Policy, here’s a couple of important things you should know:

  • Our apps have no access to your password. You authenticate directly with third party services like Pipedrive or noCRM and then grant access to our app. You can revoke access at any time.
  • The data we process from third party services passes through our servers and only minimal data is stored locally on your computer for the purpose of speeding up the service. This data is not personal data and contains nothing identifiable. None of your data is stored or cached on our servers.
  • Your credit card details are not stored on our server. In fact, we have no access to your credit card details at all.
  • We record some basic usage information such as your IP address and the time(s) that you have connected. This helps us manage server capacity.
  • For contact validation services we record some metadata about your validation requests. This includes the time and date of validation requests and the number of contacts validated. We do this for audit and billing purposes. We do not record any details of the validation requests such as email addresses.

Our privacy and the security of our data is important to us, so we imagine it is important to you too. The best way we can protect and secure your data is not to store it in the first place. The only personally identifiable information we store about you is your email address and name which we use for communicating with you and for identification and billing purposes.
